The new chapter of Trevor Noah’s career has already begun and I couldn’t be more excited. In addition to announcing that he would be departing The Daily Show on December 8, the comedian will release a new stand-up special on Netflix on November 22. “In the United States of America, all you need is a strange voice to win an election,” he jokes.

Noah’s third Netflix special (following 2018’s Son of Patricia and 2017’s Afraid of the Dark) and 11th overall was shot at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto earlier in October. Besides the carousel of impressions, Netflix’s press release notes that Noah will talk about “learning German, modern communication, and his love of curry.”

During a recent interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Noah cited more freedom to perform stand-up all over the world as one of the reasons he is leaving The Daily Show.  Since he started in stand-up, this seems about right for the star. Will you be watching?
