Emmanuel Acho was welcomed into the Bachelor Nation family when he guest-hosted the historic “After the Final Rose” for Matt James’ season of “The Bachelor.” Acho is known for his ability to deftly navigate difficult conversations, including the ones he helped facilitate during “AFR,” and now he’s getting some major recognition for his work.

He took to social media to announce that he won a Primetime Emmy for his series “Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man.” and many took notice at not only his win but the pattern on his suit. In a second post to cleebrate the night, he explained why the suit he wore to accept his award was a special tribute.

Along with the suit, he wore a red pocket square and red socks to “signify the tragic blood that was shed by several of these victims” according to his tweet

He also shared how grateful he is for the award and how he plans to continue the work he’s been doing. Fans of him, flooded his comments with congrats and support for his major moment. Everytime someone does something like this, it helps America never to forget these moments that always need to be address and to make sure we never stop fighting. I really love the concept and how tasteful it was done. I can’t wait to see the continued work he does with this new accomplishment.
